We will be organising this event and managing the day in line with the Government guidance alongside guidance from Sport England and SAGE and this will be updated accordingly. Like all of us we hope that the Government Road Map will allow us to be holding mass participation events with spectators in September however, we reserve the right to make changes in order to remain safe and protect you and our staff. We want you to enjoy the wonderful Mud Runner atmosphere that you help to create but our primary focus must be to provide a safe environment.
The responsibility of holding a safe race relies on all of us so please follow the guidance at the time and help us keep you safe and enjoy the day.
We will send an email nearer the time with all the regulations that will be in place to ensure a covid safe race.
We currently plan to have waves of 200 starting 10 minutes apart and in a holding area that can contain 400 people to allow for space.
We will have a venue check in QR code so please download the NHS test and trace app before you arrive.
It is expected that participants and spectators WILL NOT attend the event if they have been unwell or suffering covid symptoms, a positive test or have been asked to self-isolate in the last 14 days.
Registration and key drop facilities will have minimal staff contact and the area will be spaced out with plenty of ventilation to avoid any congestion – this might mean that everything is slower so please allow for this.
Please wear a face covering in the registration area and in the toilet area.
