Mud Runner Lite 2022 sees the return of one of the best and original mud runs in the country using some of the awesome tracks at Eastnor Castle where Land Rover have tested their 4×4 for decades.
There are no man-made obstacles we just make the most of the natural terrain and environment to ensure that you slip & slide and squelch & trudge through glorious sticky mud!
The route starts in the Deer Park and is a run full of mud pits, swamps, undulating hills, lakes and rutted tracks that challenge even the fittest runners. #nothingtougher
There is a 5km course and a 10km course to give you a choice to suit your ability.
At the finish line you will get your unique Mud Runner medal.
In the Race Village there will be the registration points, a key drop, toilets, and plenty of food and drink.
What is Mud Runner Lite?
Mud Runner Lite is not LITE on spirit, mud, fun and family.
It offers a competitively priced ticket without the frills but still keeping all the muddy thrills.
We are unable to offer the Muddy Tub of Love because it is not covid safe (boo hoo) and; Mud Master (which requires 3 races a year).
To keep the cost of entry lower we give you the option to add a T-shirt to your ticket and it is no longer a time event.
It is also designed to ensure we can organise this race within the Government Covid regulations whatever they are at the time. (see Race Safe page).
You will pick up your race number on the day as well as a T-shirt if you add this option to your ticket.
Photos
Peachysnaps are the official photographers and will have guys all around the course taking some brilliant photos and capturing those memories. After the race we will send out a link to the photo site so that you can purchase your favourites.
- Registration opening times
10km – 8.30 – 11.30
5km – 10.30 – 13.30
Registration will be clearly signposted and you will collect your number from this area via the QR code that your registration produces as a ticket. Feel free to write your number on your face and arms in case you lose your runner number in the mud!
Your T-shirt (if you order one) will also be available on production of the QR code at the registration point. - Car Parking
Parking is on site and will be clearly signposted. The car park opens at 8am and costs £3 with your ticket and £5 on the day. If you buy in advance PLEASE remember to print out your ticket and display it. - Key drop
We do not have the space to take bags and remain covid safe so there is only a key drop available which is a free service. Please note that you leave your keys at your own risk - Accidents and injuries
We will have a medical team on site to deal with any accidents and there is a first aid tent. - Toilets
There are plenty of toilets available and these will be kept clean and sanitised during the day. - Hand Sanitisers
There will be plenty of hand sanitising stations available in the race village but please bring your own where possible. - Changing areas
There will be no changing areas provided as we are unable to make these covid safe areas. There are no showers but you come through a lake at the end of the course so make sure you have a good scrub in there.
